A Scottish Conservative MP has been branded a "traitor" and told to leave the UK in a "Brexit Christmas" card.
Paul Masterton was one of 15 Conservatives pictured on the Daily Telegraph's front page under the headline ''The Brexit Mutineers'' as they are said to be prepared to rebel over Government plans to fix the date of Brexit.
His constituency of East Renfrewshire voted 74.3% in favour of remaining in the European Union.
On Tuesday, the MP tweeted the picture of an anonymous card he had received addressed to "Judas".
It read: "Pack your suitcase, leave the UK and don't return ever, you traitor."
The word "Happy" in front of Christmas was also scored out and replaced with "Brexit".
Mr Masterton said: "I feel bad for the trees who died in vain to make this card."
He described the front of the card, which read "Joy to the World", as "a lovely little festive number".
Former Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron MP commented on the tweet with a similar card he had received saying "Amen, brother".
