The football tales proved to be a real winner with pupils in 2007
BARRHEAD school kids had a ball when they were visited by storytellers in 2007.
Fergus McNicol and Ron Fairweather entertained primary children at Barrhead Sports Centre with their football stories.
The event was part of that year’s East Renfrewshire storytelling festival.
Youngsters from St Mark's, St John’s and Auchenback primaries heard Fergus and Ron tell tall tales about the beautiful game.
