LONG-STANDING independent Barrhead councillor Danny Devlin hopes to be re-elected again in May.
Councillor Devlin has served on local government for more than a decade, and has spent the last five years as East Renfrewshire Council’s housing convener.
He hopes he can continue to serve the people of Barrhead, without the noose of party politics.
He said: “It has been my honour and my privilege to serve the people of Barrhead to the best of my abilities. I sincerely hope that voters will recognise my dedication to this task, and it would be an honour if they would vote to re-elect me in May.”
