THEY’RE getting to be a crafty lot down at Barrhead Foundry.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend the next Barrhead Foundry Craft Fair next Sunday, March 12.
The popular event, held on the second Sunday of every month, features the work of skilled craftspeople – many from the Barrhead area like Roberta Simpson, who creates hats and fascinators – with 32 stalls set up to sell their products and creations.
Visitors to the craft fair will see everything from leather goods, jewellery, unusual picture frames and greetings cards to wood carvings, knitwear, candles and natural beauty products.
There will also be practitioners of alternative therapies like reflexology and Indian head massage on hand to give treatments during the event which will run between 10am and 3pm.
