SCOTLAND’S hottest pop stars have swapped the bright lights of London for the quiet streets of Barrhead.

Singing duo Bosie wowed judges and the audience last week on the hit TV show, The Voice.

Barrhead-based Taylor Logan and Richard Graham made it through to the battle of the bands after being snapped up by Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale.

They have returned to their hometown to rehearse for their next TV appearance in a few weeks and launch their new EP.

“Its been a crazy week but one we have really loved,” smiled Taylor, 21.

“We really loved being in London and on stage at The Voice but I have to say its great being back in Barrhead.”

Best pal Richard, 21, whose mum and dad live in the town, added: “One day we’re singing in a Barrhead pub and the next we’re performing before millions of people and stars such as Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am.

“We felt a bit nervous before we went on stage thinking about the magnitude of the audition but once we were called, we got in the zone and went for it.”

The duo started performing after being asked to sing a cheesy Christmas song and realised they had a unique sound. Both are singer-songwriters and also play a variety of instruments including guitar, piano and saxaphone.

The Voice judges were knocked out with their moody performance of the Chris Isaak’s 80s hit Wicked Game.

Gavin Rossdale told them: “You are unbelievable. I’m thrilled to have you on my team. I loved that sound.”

Tom Jones added: “The reason I didn’t turn is because I’ve already got two duos on my team. But if I didn’t, I would have pushed my button.

“After the show, all the judges came up to talk with us,” said Taylor.

“They were so nice and encouraging and so complimentary. We were thrilled to get such great reviews from them.”

The duo are determined to carry on performing whatever happens on The Voice and have just launched their first EP called Hey, Young Blood.

“We also write our own songs and will continue to do that,” added Richard.
