People across Renfrewshire who would like to volunteer with the police to help prevent crime have been called on.
Police Scotland is hosting an online Special Constable Attraction and information event on Thursday, May 30, between 7pm and 8.30pm.
The session aims to provide those interested with more insight into what a 'special constable' would do in their spare time.
People can find out what their operational duties will be, the recruitment process and what the benefits are of working with the police.

The role of those selected would see them forge strong partnerships in the community, patrolling the streets, preventing crime, and interacting with all kinds of people whilst assisting in keeping the local community safe.
Police Scotland says that joining the Special Constabulary is a 'fantastic opportunity' for people who are considering progressing into the force as a career.
