A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a housebreaking and theft of a car.
The alleged incident took place on Broomvale Drive in Newton Mearns yesterday (Wednesday, March 6).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 7 March 2024.
"A report has been submitted the Procurator Fiscal."
A second man, meanwhile, has also been arrested after allegedly acting suspiciously in the area.
"A second man aged 20 years, has been arrested with regard to acting in a suspicious manner outside homes in the Newton Mearns area of Glasgow," added the spokesperson
"Enquiries into those incidents are continuing.”
