A BARRHEAD golf club is keen to hear from youngsters who would like to swing into action by joining its junior team.
Boys and girls from the Fereneze junior team, guided by manager Tommy Kelly, have enjoyed plenty of success in recent times, including winning the Fleming Watson League for the last four years.
Several of the existing team members will move up to the senior section next year, with the club now seeking new recruits.
A spokesperson said: “The Fereneze junior team is made up of boys and girls aged from 12 to 18.
“The club is keen to promote the game of golf to the area’s youngsters, with heavily subsidised annual fees of only £50.”
