A WOMAN has been charged after a police officer was left seriously injured following a road traffic collision.
We reported previously how Phil Hedge-Holmes was on duty when he was struck by a car on London Road, Carmyle, on May 31.

The 45-year-old, who has worked for Police Scotland for almost five years, had to undergo major surgery on his legs.

Police Scotland has today confirmed that a 24-year-old woman has been charged with a road traffic offence following the incident.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
