A BARRHEAD charity is to host a table top sale and coffee afternoon to raise vital funds.
Members of the Levern Valley Defibrillator Community Partnership are hoping for a good turnout at the Salvation Army Hall on Saturday, June 15, between 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
Proceeds will help pay for defibrillators to be placed at various public locations in Barrhead.
Douglas Yates, the charity’s chairman, said: “We are very grateful to the Salvation Army for the generous use of their hall and cafe facility and are now seeking interest from those who wish to have a table at the event.
“The cost is £10 per table and those who are interested should email me at dayates@ntlworld.com without delay, as demand is sure to be brisk. We’d also be delighted to receive donations of home baking, biscuits and pancakes for sale in the cafe.”
