PUPILS at a Neilston school gave it their all during their annual sports day.
Children from every year group at St Thomas’ Primary took part in a number of fun activities, including races, potted sports, a swimming gala and a dance-a-thon.
The budding athletes were split into their house teams and placed into mixed age groups, with scores recorded for every event.
After a non-stop day of fun, Robertson House emerged as the winners and will receive a trophy at the school’s next assembly.
Eilidh Conlon, principal teacher at the school, told the Barrhead News: “I think it really helped to create a sense of community by working in our houses.
“This year, we have had a large push on developing activities that will help with nurturing children’s physical and mental wellbeing and the new format for sports day was really keeping this push in mind.
“The day went really well and was a nice way for the pupils to end the term.”
