FAMILIES have been left disappointed after an animatronics show that was set to transport them back to the Ice Age was scrapped.
Ice Age: The Lost Kingdom had been pencilled in for Rouken Glen Park, in Giffnock, from June 22 to July 14.
The touring show features animatronic versions of more than 40 prehistoric animals, including woolly mammoths.
However, organisers have confirmed the East Renfrewshire event will no longer be taking place.
A spokesperson said: “The Ice Age event due to take place in the park this summer has unfortunately been cancelled.
“Anyone who purchased a ticket will be notified and refunded.”
No reason was given for the cancellation but anyone who has a query regarding a refund can send an email to info@weliculture.com
