Actors took a 300ft plunge for charity
BARRHEAD’S soap stars Deek and Hazel were planning to be ‘rock’ stars back in 2005.
Along with three other colleagues from the BBC soap River City, they took part in a charity abseil challenge from the top of Dumbarton Rock.
This was the first time anyone has attempted to take the 300 feet drop.
Dunterlie actress Anne Marie Fulton, who plays Hazel, and Gordon McCorkell, aka Deek, took part in the jump.
