Major road set for three night closure
A MAJOR road in Barrhead is set to be closed for three nights.
From Saturday, May 11, until Monday, May 13, Glasgow Road will be shut from 10pm until 6am in order for works to be carried out on the rail bridge.
Roads bosses have described this work as “essential”.
Diversions will be put in place which will take motorists via Glasgow Road, Hurlet Road, Grahamston Road, Paisley Road, Cross Arthurlie Street, Main Street to Glasgow Road and vice versa.
