VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help a fundraising drive reach new heights.
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is inviting people of all ages and abilities to take part in an inclusive and accessible trek up Britain’s highest mountain this summer.
On Saturday, August 10, members of Team RNIB will climb 1,345m to reach the summit of Ben Nevis.
Alex McDowell, head of public fundraising at RNIB, said: “Our trek along the rocky trail to the summit of this ancient volcano will be challenging but your sense of achievement at the top will be incredible.
“This is not a race, this is a team effort that enables people to achieve their personal goals and raise money to support our work breaking down the barriers facing people with sight loss.”
