A Grammy award-winning artist has been announced as the latest headliner of a music festival in Rouken Glen Park.
Lauryn Hill will be performing at Playground of Sound Festival in Giffnock as the Saturday headliner.
It comes following the much-anticipated 20th anniversary tour of her Grammy winning album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill which visited the SSE Hydro last year.
The former Fugees star will be joining previously announced headliners Groove Armanda and Hot Chip, for a trio of Scottish festival exclusives and a real eclectic mix of the best live music over the first weekend in August.
Playground Of Sound is a unique new boutique festival for 'discerning, open-minded music lovers'.
Taking place over 3 days starting on Friday August 2, it takes place in Rouken Glen Park in East Renfrewshire.
Anna Calvi, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, Shaka Loves You, Cuban Brothers, Illyus & Barrientos and La La & Lylo have also been announced on the line-up today.
Tickets are on sale now.
