COPS investigating the death of a man found in a burnt-out car in Renfrew have confirmed his death is 'not suspicious'.
The 60-year-old's remains were found by officers following a 999 call on Monday at around 10.30pm after the car was found on fire in the town's Row Avenue.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, next to a children's football pitch, and forensic officers put up tents as they carried out their investigation.

The death was initially being treated as unexplained, but officers have now confirmed the death is 'not suspicious' following a post-mortem.
His family have been informed.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Following a post-mortem examination, the death is being treated as not suspicious.
“We can confirm the deceased is a 60-year-old male.
“A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
