KEEN football fanatics escaped the cold weather for a kick-about at the Barrhead Foundry.
Children from across the area headed to the centre to take part in a Mini Kickers session, which provides a gentle introduction to playing football using fun-based activities.
Run for children aged three to five-years-old, the sessions take place across East Renfrewshire, with two sessions hosted at the Foundry being held on Saturday mornings.
Many of the sessions are also adult and child based, where a parent or guardian is able to join in with their child to support them through any initial apprehension.
Another two sessions take place in Barrhead throughout the week, again at the Foundry, as well as at Barrhead High School. Classes are also held at Eastwood and Williamwood High
Schools, as well as St Clare’s and Eaglesham Primaries.
Classes cost £4.50 each and can be booked as a block.
