A MAN is facing court action after he was allegedly found with controlled drugs in a Barrhead street.
The 24-year-old suspect was stopped by officers in the town’s Glasgow Road at around 7pm on Saturday.
It is alleged that, during a subsequent search, he was found to be in possession of an illegal powder, as well as cannabis.
Police have confirmed that, following the incident, a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
