Two teens face assault rap
TWO teenagers have been charged with assault following a disturbance in Neilston.
Police were called to an incident in the town’s Main Street at around 7pm on Friday.
It is understood two girls, aged 14 and 15, were reported to have been assaulted by being punched and kicked, although neither suffered serious injuries.
A police spokesman said: “Following enquiries, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy have been identified and have been charged with assault.”
