Weather experts are warning people to prepare for widespread ice in the area with wintry showers also expected overnight.
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces should be expected and there will probably be some ice on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths from 10pm tonight until around 11am tomorrow morning.

Guidance states that during yellow warnings "the weather will cause some low level impacts, including some disruption to travel in a few places".
Many people may be able to continue with their daily routine, but there will be some that will be directly impacted.
In the other parts of the country, a yellow weather warning for snow showers, with strong winds and icy conditions expected to make travelling difficult, especially over the hills and in northern coastal areas.
Please take care folks, there’s a weather warning in place with ice and wintry showers expected from 10pm tonight. Follow the Met office for the latest updates. https://t.co/kABOeqSM3U pic.twitter.com/up9XROliGC
