Barrhead woman 'tried to bite cop'
A BARRHEAD woman was arrested after she allegedly tried to bite a police officer.
The incident is said to have taken place at around 7.45pm on New Year’s Day after cops were called to a disturbance in Aurs Crescent.
An 18-year-old woman was detained for allegedly conducting herself in a threatening or abusive manner, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
Police confirmed the suspect has been reported to the procurator fiscal.
