DATES have been confirmed for school holidays in East Renfrewshire during the first half of 2019.
The first term of the new year began on Monday and runs until Friday, March 29.
There will be an in-service day on Friday, February 8, with the mid-term holiday taking place on Monday, February 11, and Tuesday, February 12.
Schools will be closed from Monday, April 1, until Monday, April 15, before re-opening for four days.
There will then be the Easter holidays, starting on Friday, April 19, and continuing on Monday, April 22.
After lessons are resumed on Tuesday, April 23, schools will remain open until breaking up for the summer on Thursday, June 27.
However, parents should note that children will be off on Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7, as the May Day holiday and an in-service day take place.
There will also be a break at the end of that month, with lessons cancelled on Friday, May 24, and Monday, May 27.
Holiday arrangements at Calderwood Lodge Primary, in Newton Mearns, will differ slightly from those at other schools in East Renfrewshire.
