WITH New Year celebrations out of the way and Christmas a thing of the past, we have entered a month that is pretty unforgiving, with many suffering from the infamous January blues.

But fret not; all is not lost. Towards the end of the month and pretty much right on payday, local trance aficionados, Global Language, are bringing a headliner to Bournemouth’s basement club, Bomo Bunker, for the first time that will rival any Superclub in the country and cannot be missed – The Space Brothers.

The Space Brothers are a sacrosanct trance institution. British born; Ricky Simmonds, Stephen Jones and Liam Melly have been pumping out hit after hit since the late nineties, ever evolving their sound and style into progressive trance territory. With an extensive list of chart-topping releases, remixes and producer credits under their belt; selling over 18 million tracks worldwide, many of their early epic and ethereal big room trance anthems influenced a generation.

Global Language promoter and DJ, Tom Perry, is brimming with enthusiasm, “We think carefully about our line-ups [like the Space Bothers], and love breaking boundaries and offering debuts and mixing up our DJs to get a great affordable entry for Bournemouth’s fun-loving trance fans.

“The trance scene is definitely happening at the moment and Bournemouth and we are being treated to some awesome nights, but is important to keep things fresh; to vary the music. We like to think we take you on a musical journey and build the night. There is so many sub genres to trance and we love to dabble in them all.”

Expect a classics set from The Space Brothers with big anthems including Shine, Forgiven, Legacy, Heaven Will Come and Everywhere I Go. They will also be showcasing some of their favourite tunes from their aliases Ascension, Chakra and Lustral back catalogue.

Joining The Space Brothers are DJs Daniela Rhodes (Afrodisiac), Adam Lee (Trance Vision), Hatstandy (Trance Breaks), Luke Davies & Mayner (Teddy Raves/Teddy20), Perry & Parnell (Global Language residents) and competition winner, Shax.

The party begins on Friday, January 25 at 9pm and goes through till 4am.
