Two of Scotland’s top stand-up comedians are heading to East Renfrewshire for one big show.

Multi-award winning comics Gary Little and Des McLean will bring their 2019 stand-up tour to Eastwood Park Theatre, in Giffnock, for one night only on Saturday, March 9.

A spokesperson for Eastwood Park Theatre said: “Whether you’re a fan of stand-up comedy or the award-nominated comedy series The Glasgow Trip, this is a night not to be missed.”

The show gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets cost £14 (standard) and £12 (concession).

To book, call the box office on 0141 577 4956.

It is part of a packed programme of entertainment lined up for 2019 by East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure (ERCL).

As well as award-winning comedy, theatregoers can look forward to music, dance and drama, with plenty on offer for kids too.

Anthony McReavy, of ERCL, said: “There really is something for everyone in our forthcoming season at Eastwood Park Theatre.

“We have performances from the likes of former River City star James Mackenzie, who is taking on the role of Rabbie Burns with a comic twist on the traditional Burns’ night celebrations in The Ghosting of Rabbie Burns.

“Music fans are in for a treat too as we host Europe’s number one Country music show, The Legends of American Country.

“Tribute nights include Buddy Holly, The Sound of Springsteen, Patsy Cline and the renowned Elio Pace as Elvis Presley.

“We also have plenty on for kids, including family shows and creative classes to keep them entertained for weeks to come.

“There’s plenty to choose from, including drama classes that will help build confidence, use their imaginations and have fun, photography classes and arts and crafts sessions.”
