THE great outdoors was firmly in focus as Levern Camera Club hosted a successful competition.
The Barrhead-based club organises five contests between September and June amongst its ever-growing membership.
A total of 30 entries were submitted for the autumn competition, with judges finding it difficult to select the winning images.
After much deliberation, first place went to club secretary Jim Clark, whose image titled ‘Long Tall Shadows’ wowed his fellow photographers. Second and third place both went to Bill MacFarlane, for his images titled ‘Loch Eck Reflections’ and ‘Autumn Mist.’
Jim said: “Our next competition will be based on a winter theme and will be held on January 23.”
The club meets at Fereneze Golf Club every Wednesday, starting at 7.30pm, and new members are always welcome.
