NEILSTON is looking brighter and feeling more festive following the switch-on event at the weekend.
The village was a hub of activity on Sunday as hundreds swarmed the streets for a parade and party, with plenty of food, drink, music and special guests - including Santa!
The whole event was organised by volunteers at the Neilston War Memorial Association with the help of the Neilston Players, Neilston First Responders and Neilston Development Trust.
Councillor Paul O’Kane declared it “a great success”.
