A NEILSTON man is set to go on trial next month accused of assaulting another man at a shop.
Steven Noon, 34, is alleged to have assaulted Christopher Wilson in the Co-op, in Main Street, Neilston, on March 29 this year.
When the case against Noon called for the first time at Paisley Sheriff Court earlier this year, a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
The case against Noon, of Harelaw Avenue, was continued until last week for a pre-trial hearing to take place. At last week’s hearing, Sheriff Craig Harris continued it until next month for the trial to take place.
