Christmas came early in Barrhead as a festive fair took place at the town’s Salvation Army hall.
The gleeful gathering featured a merry medley of stalls offering a variety of goods to raise money for the worthy cause.
Christmas crafts caught the eyes of children and adults alike, with a special stall selling hand-made wooden toys crafted by members of the Barrhead Men’s Shed.
Also on offer at Saturday’s event was an array of knitted goods, toys and jewellery, providing plenty of gift inspiration for those in attendance.
Gill Wilkins, the new Major at the Salvation Army base, was delighted to see so many members of the local community coming along to support the festive fair.
She said: “I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout and I hope everyone had a good time. I’m not sure of the total raised but I think it will be in the high hundreds.”
