A man has died after falling from a building in Glasgow's South Side.
Emergency services raced to the scene on Holmlea Road, Cathcart, around 8am on Wednesday.
The street was cordoned off by police between Castle Road and Brisbane Street.
A number of emergency service vehicles remained at the scene.
It is believed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 8am police were called to a report of a 53-year-old man being injured when he fell from a block of flats on Holmlea Road.
"Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 7.57am today to attend an incident on Holmlea Road in Glasgow.
“We dispatched our trauma team, two ambulances and a manager to the scene.”
