CHILDREN and the young at heart donned their favourite wellies and waterproof clothing to embark on some muddy adventures at Greenbank Gardens on Saturday.
An ideal activity for the wet and windy October break, the event saw teams pick up a free trail map from the cafe before heading into the woodlands to splash their way through the swampy paths.
Whether taking the tree-spotting trail or the nature trail, everyone had plenty of opportunity to explore, play, use their imaginations and squish through a few puddles, before heading back to the dog-friendly cafe at the Clarkston venue to warm up with some hot chocolate and cake.
