FOUR lingerie ladies took the plunge to raise money for the Royal National Institute of the Blind .
The four women from La Senza in Newton Mearns, including two Barrhead lasses, abseiled 150ft down the side of Glasgow’s Marriot Hotel to raise money for the charity.
The event raised £16,000 in total, and left the girls with a taste for adventure, even if their plan of abseiling in their pyjamas had to be abandoned.
Barrhead's Jennifer Quinn, 27, of George Street, and Rowan Orr, 19, of Neilston Road, were joined by co-workers Joanne Boyce, 22, of Newton Mearns, and Natasha Partington, 19, of Fenwick.
Jennifer admitted: “It was a bit daunting but it was great.
“We were the first of the day to take the plunge.
“It was too cold for our pyjamas in the end, but we’re going to skydive next time to raise even more money.”
