AT ST JOHN’S Primary school’s exotic fruit taste test 10 years ago, the P5 pupils all had an opinion on the crazy treats they tried.
Adam Canning said: “I tasted a lemon and it made my cheeks go all funny. It’s very sour.”
Kayleigh Ann Branston was firm in her dislike of one interesting item. She said: “I tasted a fig and it looked disgusting and it was.”
Rachel Hughes tried a passion fruit. She said: “It had hard bits in it. It was sweet.”
The class voted that their favourite fruit was the coconut milk and their least favourite were the figs.
