A TEENAGER has been arrested after a 16-year-old girl was raped in Bishopbriggs.
The Evening Times first reported how an incident had taken place in the town on Monday night.
Police Scotland was called to the Greenhill area at around 7.35pm.
Woodfield Avenue was taped off by the force as officers stopped people from entering the park.

It has now been confirmed that a 16-year-old female was seriously sexually assaulted.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: “We can confirm that a 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
