Man in court over police incident in Barrhead
A MAN has appeared in court after allegedly refusing to comply with police in Barrhead.
It was around 10.45pm on Friday that officers had cause to speak to the 43-year-old suspect in Aurs Road, following a disturbance in the street.
According to police, he was asked to provide a roadside breath test but refused.
As a result, he was charged with conducting himself in a threatening or abusive manner and failing to provide a breath test when requested.
He appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court last Monday.
