A RENFREW firm has been crowned Most Outstanding Business at the 21st annual Glasgow Business Awards.

Renewable Parts Ltd, which has over 20 years of experience in parts maintenance and supply, was chosen for the most prestigious accolade of the night against competition from 66 other firms across a wide variety of sectors.

It also won the Innovation in Business gong after going head to head with five other companies in this category.

Hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland, the awards champion the major achievements and innovations of the business community.

Comedian Fred MacAulay compered the event, which took place at the Glasgow Hilton, with a total of 16 awards presented in front of 660 guests.
