THE Hallowe’en season is officially well underway, following the annual Barrhead Pumpkin Patch bash.

Families from far and wide travelled to Mossneuk Farm at the weekend to pick out their pumpkins and take part in a range of playful activities.

Hosted by Mini Messies, the event offered families a huge variety of fun and games with a suitably spooky theme, including an assault course, messy play area for babies, tractor and trailer play, witches brew forest hunt, witches hat hoopla, face painting, glitter tattoos and much more.

And while Saturday’s fantastic weather sadly didn’t last into Sunday, the youngsters didn’t let that spoil their fun.

Organiser Aisha Pollock said: “We’re honestly overwhelmed with the feedback we received.

“It seems like all the people who came had just the most amazing time.

“Even on the Sunday, when the weather was horrible, everyone got stuck into the activities and really enjoyed themselves.”

Aisha said they will definitely be hosting another pumpkin party next year, as well as an egg-hunt at Easter.
