Last night Leigh Griffiths' header secured a last-minute win for Celtic however it looks like it wasn't the most memorable header of the game.

One lucky Celtic fan managed to get a touch of the ball during last nights Europa League clash against Rosenborg as it was punted into the crowd during Group B stage match at Celtic Park.

But instead of reaching up to catch the ball, the excited fan leapt into the air and gave a spectacular header which sent the ball flying back towards the pitch.

One Twitter user @muireannf managed to capture a video of the moment he touched the ball - and of the aftermath where the fan looks pretty impressed with himself along with the other spectators around him.

The video has been shared across social media with the lad becoming somewhat of a hero among other Celtic fans.

One supporter said: "Another example of not all heroes wear capes."

Another added: "Gee him a game."

One fan said: "Best touch of the game so far."

Another wrote: "Get this man on the park."

The original Tweet has been liked more than 14,000 times.

The winning goal during last night's game saw Scott Brown’s ball met by the head of Dedryck Boyata with Griffiths on hand to head the ball down past Hansen and get Celtic’s campaign up and running.
