SCOTTISH Opera is debuting its new season in East Renfrewshire this week – and young people can experience the magic for £5.
Eastwood Park Theatre will host Opera Highlights tomorrow, featuring an operatic playlist from much-loved and some lesser-known composers.
Four professional singers and a pianist will be hitting the high notes as they present the autumn season, including Mozart and Donizetti, linked together with new compositions by Scottish Opera’s composer-in-residence Samuel Bordoli.
Tickets for Opera Highlights are priced at £14 but those aged under 26 will pay the reduced price of £5.
Anthony McReavy, of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “Whether it’s your first taste of a classical collaboration or you have enjoyed the opera many times before, this show is sure to hit all the right notes.”
