ST LUKE’S pupils were travelling by bus along narrow country lanes to avoid being stoned as they passed Barrhead High School in 2003.
Roy Hutchison, a Springhill resident, said: “There are two double decker buses going along these narrow streets, because the buses have been stoned when they go past Barrhead High.”
Arriva operations manager Ian Craig confirmed the route had changed to avoid “stone throwing”.
