Scores of Barrhead residents turned out in Dunterlie on Saturday afternoon to welcome a new tenancy project in the town.
Almost 200 people attended the event at Dunterlie Resource Centre, with a variety of activities and events on offer to keep everyone entertained.

DIY Dunterlie, run by Barrhead Housing Association, has been designed to help local residents develop new skills and interests which can impact positively on their lives.
The project is supported by the Aspiring Communities European Social Fund operated by the Scottish Government, meaning the programme of workshops and events will continue throughout 2018 and 2019 free of charge.

As well as light-hearted entertainment for kids, there were a number of skills-based learning stations as well as information sessions for parents. These included classes in cooking, digital, and creative upcycling.
