YOUNG Neilston artist, Debbie McGill, took the gold medal at a top children’s art competition for the second year in a row in 2003.
Debbie, then 15, won gold at the national children’s art competition at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, out of 2500 entries from around Scotland’s central belt, because of her expressive interpretation of a tribal head-dress from the gallery.
