Six primary school children have helped the team behind Maidenhill to mark the development of the new community for Newton Mearns, with a time capsule.
The children, from nearby Kirkhill and Mearns Primary Schools, visited the site and had the chance to bury the vessel on the development.
Items within the time capsule were selected by the children, and included recent local newspaper cuttings and badges and images representing each of the local schools.
