A VOLUNTEER from Neilston has been given an award for her services to the charity Guide Dogs.
Lyn Carse was presented with the ‘Trustworthy’ award at the Guide Dogs Local Volunteer Awards, held in Hamilton.
Kind-hearted Lyn owes her independence to her guide dog Eva and volunteers to give back to the charity.
Speaking after the win, Lyn said: “I would like to thank the people who nominated me, for their kind words.
“I do what I do because I love it and it contributes to the independence and happiness I have been given by my guide dog Eva.”
Anyone interested in volunteering with the charity can visit guidedogs.org.uk or call 0345 143 0206.
