IT was competition time for photography enthusiasts as members of Levern Camera Club were challenged to produce snaps which put spring in focus.
Bill MacFarlane’s image called ‘Waiting for Spring’ scooped the top prize from the judges, who also ranked his work ‘An April Day in Luss’ as runner-up.
Third place was shared by Cliff Lockyer’s photograph called ‘Luskentyre’ and Jim Pyke’s entry, simply called ‘Spring’.
Club secretary Alexis Kaylen said: “A few of our newest members entered and all enjoyed the feedback and the experience they got from showing off their work.
“We have themed competitions, like our recent Black and White competition, where all entries have to follow a set theme.”
The club meets at Fereneze Golf Club, in Fereneze Avenue, Barrhead, at 7.30pm on Wednesdays, with new members made welcome.
