AN East Renfrewshire theatre is to stage a British Sign Language interpreted performance this month.
The interactive show – Eddie and the Slumber Sisters – is the brainchild of the National Theatre of Scotland and Catherine Wheels Theatre Company.
It will be performed at Clarkston Hall on Wednesday, May 23, blending together music, magic and imagination through songs and humour.
The show explores grieving through the eyes of Eddie, who has been having wild, chaotic dreams since her gran passed away.
The Slumber Sisters, an all-singing trio whose job it is to monitor dreams and night wanderings, notice Eddie and decide to intervene.
Anthony McReavy, of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Eddie and the Slumber Sisters to Clarkston.
“East Renfrewshire audiences are getting the chance to preview the show before it reaches the Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival and Edinburgh
International Children’s Festival at the end of the month.”
The show at Clarkston Hall starts at 6pm and tickets cost £8 for adults and £6 for children, with a £25 ticket available for a family of four.
