LOCHWINNOCH is bursting with culture now that the village’s annual arts festival is in full swing.
The 2018 event has been a big success, with hundreds of guests from across Renfrewshire and further afield enjoying a host of events.
Kicking off last week, crowds have lapped up a range of comedy, music, literature and exhibitions at what has been dubbed ‘The Friendly Festival’.
And, over the weekend, savvy shoppers treated themselves to goodies at the village’s craft fair.
Event co-ordinator Morag Throw told The Gazette: “Among the crafts on offer were knitting and felting, textiles, jewellery, pottery, art, candles, gifts, cards and more.
“Free teas and coffees were also on offer throughout the day.
“There is still plenty of fun for guests to get involved in at Lochwinnoch Arts Festival, which comes to a close at the end of this week.”
