A TRIBUTE act to one of the most successful bands in history will take centre stage in East Renfrewshire later this month.

Music lovers can relive the sounds of the Seventies by watching Abba Forever at Eastwood Park Theatre, in Giffnock, on Saturday, February 17.

The band prides itself on replicating the unique Abba sound with incredible attention to detail, using electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, piano and drums.

The show, presented by Sweeney Entertainments, is said to include dynamic, non-stop choreography, stunning visuals, top-class musicianship and an all-live performance that ensures the ABBA Forever experience captivates audiences from the opening refrain to the final sing-along chorus.

Jane Ellis, who performs as Agnetha in the show, said: “I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to perform some of the best songs of all time and tour some of the UK’s most prestigious venues and beautiful theatres.

“We play all the big Abba hits and more – even putting some surprise album tracks in there for the most ardent Abba fan.”

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £19, are on sale now.
