BOSSES at Glasgow Airport are to hold a drop-in session in Johnstone to discuss proposed new flight paths.
A 13-week consultation on changes was launched earlier this month as airport bosses at the Paisley terminal think current arrangements are not fit for purpose.
They propose to replace the current 50-year-old technology with satellite navigation. It is envisaged the move will reduce the need for planes to queue in the air as they come in to land and when they are on the ground.
The drop-in session to discuss the plans will be held at Johnstone Town Hall on Tuesday, February 27, from 10am to 7pm.
Mark Johnston, operations director at Glasgow Airport, said: “This drop-in session is an important part of the consultation, providing people with an opportunity to meet with members of the Glasgow Airport team and learn more about our proposals.”
