TWO men have been arrested in connection with an alleged attack on a Barrhead man.
As reported last week by the Barrhead News, 20-year-old Andrew Kelly was rushed to hospital following an alleged altercation at the Campus bar in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, during the early hours of Saturday, January 20.
Two suspects have now been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman stated: “We can confirm that two men, aged 26 and 27, have been arrested and charged following a serious assault at Campus nightclub on Saturday, January 20.”
The men were released to appear in court.
Mr Kelly was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the incident but was able to be released after treatment.
A photograph of his injuries that was posted on social media by one of his relatives was subsequently shared more than 3,000 times.
